Navigating Social Skills Challenges After a Pediatric Brain Tumor Diagnosis
Join the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Thursday, October 21, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT for “Navigating Social Skills Challenges After a Pediatric Brain Tumor Diagnosis.” This webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Victoria Willard, Psychologist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Webinar participants will:
• Gain an understanding of why children with brain tumors struggle socially after treatment
• Explore social skills interventions aimed at improving social competence and quality of life
• Learn key practical strategies for how to cope with social skills challenges
• Learn the tools and resources available for survivors and their families to help them navigate social skills challenges

Following the presentation, we will have a Q&A session with Dr. Willard and two parents whose children have experienced social challenges following the diagnosis of a brain tumor. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions through a text chat. This webinar is free, but you must register below to attend. A recording will be made available after the event.
